Because First Impressions Happen Online
When it comes to selling a home, photos aren’t just a preview—they’re the first showing. A properly prepped space helps us create imagery that stops the scroll and starts the showings.
Whether it’s a cozy condo or a luxury estate, here’s how to prep your listing to look its absolute best in front of our lens.

✨ Quick Prep = Big Impact
Great photos start with a clean, clutter-free space. Here’s what to tackle before our photographer arrives:
🏡 General Areas
- Turn on all lights, replace burned-out bulbs
- Open all blinds and curtains
- Hide personal items (think remotes, cords, pet toys, and paperwork)
- Remove floor mats and runners for clean, uninterrupted flooring
- Tuck away shoes, coats, and anything that doesn’t belong
🍽 Kitchen
- Clear countertops (limit to 1-2 decorative items max)
- Hide dish racks, soaps, and sponges
- Remove magnets and notes from the fridge
- Make sure all dishes are clean and put away
🛏 Bedrooms
- Make all beds with clean, wrinkle-free bedding
- Clear nightstands except for one or two decorative items
- Remove clutter from under beds and closets that may be visible
🛁 Bathrooms
- Remove all toiletries and cleaning supplies
- Close toilet lids
- Hang fresh, neatly folded towels
- Clear counters and wipe down mirrors
🌳 Exterior
- Move cars out of the driveway and away from the home
- Mow lawns, trim hedges, and sweep walkways
- Hide garbage/recycling bins, hoses, and toys
- Clean pool areas, patios, and outdoor furniture
